This workshop is for the brand new theatre teacher, the teacher who is building a new program, or the veteran teacher who is taking on a theatre program.
Learn some of the secrets and shortcuts in creating a new program, or ways to successfully transition from one teacher to you.
Topics will include: advocacy, transition, creating leadership opportunities for students, sample curriculum, and ways to keep you sane as you are taking on this new journey. Other discussion topics will focus directly on what you, as the new teacher, need to feel ready to face the next year.
